Mum of six, Kate Ball initially started Mini First Aid in 2014 from her kitchen table in Leeds, offering high quality baby & child first aid classes to parents and carers. Demand grew and Kate saw the potential for growth, so she started franchising the business in 2015. In 2021, BBC Dragon’s Den star Sara Davies, also saw the huge potential in Mini First Aid and she came on board as an investor and adviser. Mini First Aid is now a multi-award-winning organisation and has almost 70 franchises nationwide.
Hi. I’m Emma and am the owner of Mini First Aid North Nottinghamshire. When I had my little boy in 2018 I was looking for a specific first aid course for babies and children in my area. I found it really difficult to find anything and was shocked that there wasn’t more on offer for parents and carers of children. This led me to Mini First Aid and I decided the best way to get training in my area was to do it myself! My background is working in an office where I have been the appointed first aider, along with being responsible for staff training and health and safety. I am excited to be part of the Mini First Aid team and helping others learn the essential skills of first aid.
Mini First Aid is expanding as our demand for classes continues to grow.
Mini First Aid are looking for dynamic confident individuals who would like to work with all ages and feel passionately about teaching first aid.
The business is family friendly allowing our franchisees to balance owning a business with family life.
Full training is provided at the beginning of your franchise and Mini First Aid continue to support their franchisees with professional development training throughout their franchise period.
